Compare Baby Elegance fitted sheets in 120x60cm and 140x70cm sizes. Learn which cot sheet size fits your mattress and how many to buy.
Quick answer
For a standard cot mattress, choose 120x60cm fitted sheets; for a larger cot bed mattress, choose 140x70cm. Buy a pack of two or four to always have a clean spare on hand.
Why mattress size matters
A fitted sheet only works when it matches your mattress dimensions. Baby Elegance mattresses come in two common sizes: 120x60cm for standard cots and 140x70cm for larger cot beds. Using the wrong size can cause loose fabric, which is a safety hazard for babies.
Always measure your mattress before ordering. If you're between sizes, the sheet may not stay snug, so it's better to confirm the exact dimensions.
Single sheet vs pack: what's the difference?
You can buy one fitted sheet at a time, but babies need frequent changes. A pack of two or four gives you a spare without waiting for laundry. For daily use, a pack of four is convenient; for occasional use, a pack of two may suffice.
Packs also cost less per sheet compared to buying singles separately.
Decision rules
- Mattress size: Measure your mattress. If it's 120x60cm, choose 120x60cm sheets; if it's 140x70cm, choose 140x70cm sheets.
- How many sheets: For everyday use, buy a pack of four to avoid laundry delays. For occasional use or a second mattress, a pack of two is enough.
- Budget vs convenience: Singles are cheaper upfront, but packs save money per sheet and ensure you have spares. If you're unsure, start with a pack of two and add singles later if needed.
